'Did You Score?' – Super Eagles star exposes bizarre chat with teammate for celebrating his goal against United
Most players know exactly when they have just scored a historic goal against Manchester United.
But during Hull City’s mind-blowing 2-0 slaughter of the Red Devils, Super Eagles defender Semi Ajayi was left completely clueless by his own teammate.

The staggering opening-day catastrophe at the MKM Stadium was triggered in the 17th minute when Manchester United’s defence completely fell apart during a set-piece.
In the middle of the chaos, Ajayi reacted quickest, pouncing on a loose ball to smash it past goalkeeper Senne Lammens. Ajayi became the first player to score a Premier League goal for Hull against Man Utd since Matty Fryatt back in May 2014.
But what happened next left fans completely bewildered. Hull striker Oli McBurnie sprinted away in wild, frantic celebration, acting exactly as if he was the one who had hit the net.
The Hilarious On-Pitch Confrontation
The celebration caused total confusion on the pitch, forcing the Nigerian international to ask serious questions during the huddle.
"I thought he scored as well!" a laughing Semi Ajayi admitted to the Premier League after the match. "He asked me, ‘Did you score?’ And I said, ‘I think so.’ I didn’t really care if any of us scored as long as we got the goal."
The bizarre moment perfectly summarised the absolute unity in Keith Andrews’ newly promoted squad, who went into the match as massive underdogs but played with zero fear.

Total Red Devils Capitulation
Manchester United never recovered from Ajayi's early strike or the chaotic energy that followed it.
In the 38th minute, Hull doubled the misery when centre-back Nobel Mendy rose high above a comatose United backline to power home a devastating second header.
Desperate to save face, United boss Michael Carrick threw on Marcus Rashford at halftime for his first competitive appearance in 618 days.
But Hull's compact defensive block held firm. Goalkeeper Konstantinos Tzolakis pulled off a world-class save against Bryan Mbeumo to secure a historic clean sheet.
Shaking Up History
McBurnie might not have gotten his name on the scoresheet, but the goal he tried to steal has officially shattered a 52-year jinx.
This marks Hull City’s first-ever Premier League victory over Manchester United and their first league win against the Red Devils since November 1974.
"It was amazing," Ajayi added when speaking about the historic strike, as reported by Pulse Sports. "It capped off a really good start that we had... Buzzing to get the goal to get us on our way and happy it led to us getting three points."
While Ajayi and McBurnie laugh off their on-pitch confusion, Manchester United walks away with massive tactical questions and a fan base already entering an early-season meltdown.
