“So proud” — Victor Boniface’s girlfriend Rikke Hermine in awe after Leverkusen’s historic Bundesliga triumph

Bayer Leverkusen sealed a historic Bundesliga triumph on Sunday, April 14, 2024.

And Xabi Alonso’s men did so in style, with the newly-crowned champions demolishing Werder Bremen properly at the Bay Arena.

The emphatic victory saw Super Eagles of Nigeria striker, Victor Boniface, open the scoring in the first half via a well taken penalty to give the hosts the lead at half-time.

However, Alonso’s team came out guns blazing once more in the second half, as they so often have this season.

Boniface, got involved once more, finding Granit Xhaka who doubled the host’s advantage in the 60th minute.

However, the league leaders didn’t stop there as Werder had no answer for the hosts on the evening.

Florian Wirtz, scored a remarkable hattrick in the 68th, 83rd, and 90th minute to seal all three points, putting the game beyond doubt and officially crowning Leverkusen’s as league champions for the first time in their 120-year history.

Following Boniface’s impressive performance for Leverkusen on Sunday, the Norwegian girlfriend of the Nigerian striker took to social media to sing his praises.

Hermine, who was present at the Bay Arena, for the title celebrations, posted a clip of Boniface celebrating after the scoring opener, on her Instagram story.

The 20-year-old captioned, “So proud”.

Pulse Sports earlier reported that Boniface,23, and his girlfriend have been together for more than five years.

The pair have maintained a low profile about their relationship since his switch to Leverkusen last year.
