Senegal mounted a comeback in the second half, with Layousse Samb heading home the equalizer in the 82nd minute to salvage a point and end the game in a draw.
The result keeps Senegal ahead in Group D with 4 points, putting pressure on Nigeria.
Nigeria, on the other hand, battles Sudan, needing to get their first points of the competition.
