Sudan vs Nigeria: Time and where to watch Super Eagles B CHAN 2nd group game
The Super Eagles B squad from Nigeria is preparing for their second group match against Sudan in the African Nations Championship (CHAN), which is being played in Kenya, Tanzania, and Uganda.
Senegal, Congo, and Sudan are in the same group as Nigeria for the CHAN tournament.
The tournament only allows Super Eagles B to pick players in the Nigeria Professional Football League (NPFL) for the competition.
To earn a spot in the tournament, the Super Eagles overcame Ghana in a home-and-away jollof derby.
The team played a 0-0 and a 2-2 draw with Zanzibar in friendly matches before to the CHAN after a second-phase training camp in Zanzibar from July 25 to July 31.
Nigeria lost their opening match to Senegal to start the tournament.
Sudan on the other hand recorded a 1-1 draw with Congo to start the group phase.
Nigeria at CHAN
Nigeria finished second four years after taking home the bronze in 2014.
The competition, which is only open to football players with active contracts in the local leagues of their home nations, has seen erratic performances from them.
In Rwanda in 2016, Nigeria failed to make it past the group stage.
The team regrettably missed the Algerian-hosted finals two years ago and failed to qualify for the 2021 event in Cameroon.
Time and where to watch Nigeria vs Sudan
The game between Sudan and Nigeria is set for Tuesday, August 11, 2025.
It is the second of three group games for either side.
It will kick off at 6PM Nigerian time and will be available on Supersport on DSTV, beIN Sport and SABC Sport.
