Samuel Chukwueze: Milan confident Super Eagles winger will complete permanent EPL transfer
AC Milan are increasingly confident that Fulham will trigger the permanent buy option for Nigerian winger Samuel Chukwueze following an ongoing successful loan spell in the Premier League.
According to the Italian newspaper La Gazzetta dello Sport, the potential deal is valued at €24 million.
This transfer would provide a massive boost to the Italian club’s finances ahead of the 2026-27 season. Milan are particularly keen to offload Chukwueze due to manager Max Allegri's 3-5-2 system, which leaves no room for a traditional winger.
Chukwueze set to complete permanent Fulham move
Chukwueze has made a strong impression at Craven Cottage despite a season hampered by injuries and international duties.
The 26-year-old has recorded three goals and four assists across all competitions so far, despite his progress being briefly halted by AFCON 2025.
Since returning from the tournament, the winger has quickly fought his way back into the starting lineup. He featured prominently in recent games against Manchester United and Everton, proving to be a key part of Marco Silva's attacking plans.
Fulham currently sit 10th in the Premier League, and Chukwueze’s pace and direct style have added a new dimension to their offense.
Milan officials believe his recent run of form will be enough to convince the London club to make the move permanent at the end of the season.
