Arne Slot has downplayed concerns about Mohamed Salah's future with the club, expressing confidence in the Egyptian star's ability to perform at a high level for several years.

The Egyptian is approaching the final six months of his contract and recently sparked speculation with a post on social media "no matter what happens."

However, Slot remains unbothered by the speculation.

"There is no reason at the moment to think that he is dropping in terms of level.

"That's not what you see when you look at his numbers or what you see when he plays. I cannot tell you what the future will look like.
