Steph Curry and LeBron James are two superstars who have flirted with the idea of linking up, but it appears there are rumours of this becoming a possibility in the near future.
NBA insider Jake Fischer reported that the Golden State Warriors are keen on uniting both players to form a superstar duo.
LeBron and Curry to team up?
The interest comes as restricted free agent Jonathan Kuminga resists signing a two-year contract extension with the Warriors, wary of being traded by the February 2026 deadline, potentially in a deal for James.

Fischer notes that Golden State has reached out to the Los Angeles Lakers “on multiple occasions” over the past 18 months to discuss the possibility.
Speculation about James’ satisfaction with the Lakers has fueled rumors of a late-career move.
While pairing two of basketball’s greatest stars remains a long shot, the idea of James and Curry teaming up before their careers end is not entirely out of the question and would captivate the NBA.
