Report: Bayern find #125bn winger solution after Nico Williams snub
Bayern Munich are reportedly reconsidering a move for AC Milan star Rafael Leao, despite previously seeming to have shifted their focus.
The German club are rumoured to have discussed Leao internally this week as a potential winger option, with their renewed interest said to be coming amidst the Rossoneri’s need to balance their books, especially with no European football in the 2025-26 season.
Bayern interested in Leao
According to Fabrizio Romano, Bayern’s primary target remains Nico Williams from Athletic Club.
However, the Bundesliga champions will await the outcome of Williams's potential transfer to Barcelona before making any firm moves.
If the deal for Williams does not materialise, Bayern will then reassess their options, which include Leao and Barcola, among others.
Given Milan manager Massimiliano Allegri's strong desire to keep the forward, it is suggested that only an exceptionally high transfer fee would persuade Milan to sell the Portuguese winger.
