Real Madrid receive crucial injury boost ahead of El Clasico

Alaba suffered a groin injury in Madrid's victory against Las Palmas last month and missed the club's last three games. 

The injury also prevented Alaba from linking up with his Austrian teammates for the Euro 2024 qualifiers.

According to The Athletic, Alaba has handed Madrid boss Carlo Ancelotti a huge boost after he returned to full training.

The report further states that the ex-Bayern Munich man is in contention for Saturday's trip to Sevilla, with up to four more sessions before then allowing him to build his fitness. 

He should then also be fit to play against Barcelona in El Clasico on October 28.
