Real Madrid have identified Harry Kane as the ideal replacement for Karim Benzema if the legendary French striker accepts a move to Saudi oil-rich side Al-Ittihad.
Benzema has been offered a bumper deal, worth over €100m a season to swap the bright lights of Madrid for the fast-rising Saudi League, and transfer expert Fabrizio Romano has reported that the 35-year-old is seriously considering the offer.

More on Harry Kane's future
While Tottenham's preference would be to keep Kane for as long as possible, selling him to a club outside the Premier League would be an easier pill for Chairman Daniel Levy to swallow.
Real Madrid would have to face significant competition for his services though, with Manchester United also strongly linked to the England captain.
