Osimhen gains the upper hand to join Man United after Tottenham says they do not want to sell Harry Kane to another Premier League club.

Tottenham chairman Daniel Levy has insisted he is not willing to sell club captain Harry Kane to any Premier League team.

According to the Mirror, Kane will be allowed to move to another European club if the right offer comes.

The England international who has just a year left on his contract with the Lily Whites has been heavily linked with a move to Manchester United.

The 30-year-old who seemed to have played his last game in Tottenham colours during their 4-1 win over Leeds will have a rethink following Levy’s comments.

Kane’s comments after the season finale at Elland Road shows there could be speculation surrounding his future at the North London club.

"It has been a disappointing season.

"We can't let this win dust over that. A lot to work on. We have had to show fight in some moments. A club this size should not be finishing eighth and we need to go away, enjoy a break and look how we can improve.

"It is part and parcel of being a footballer [speculation about leaving] especially when you are at the top of your game. I have focused on this season and helping the team as much as possible. I am just looking forward to a nice break and some games with England."

On the other hand, Napoli striker Victor Osimhen who has also been linked to Old Trafford may have gained the upper hand ahead of the Tottenham forward.

The Nigerian striker who is six years younger than Kane has scored 30 goals in all competitions this season.

Though some experts believe it could be a huge gamble for United to sign a player who does not have the experience of English football.

The Red Devils are willing to take the risk for Osimhen who has played in the top leagues in Europe including Belgium, Germany, France and Italy.
