Real Madrid’s 'amazing' Bellingham enhances Ballon d’Or claims after LALIGA Player of the Year victory
Real Madrid sensation Jude Bellingham has capped off a remarkable debut season in Spain by being named the LaLiga Player of the Year.
The 20-year-old English midfielder was unveiled as the winner of the prestigious award via a post on the official LaLiga Twitter account on Tuesday evening.

The youngster beat off star-studded competition from his Real Madrid teammate Vinicius Jr., as well as the likes of Robert Lewandowski, Alexander Sorloth of Villarreal, and LaLiga top scorer Artem Dovbyk of Girona.
"He's been 𝗔𝗠𝗔𝗭𝗜𝗡𝗚," LaLiga tweeted, hailing Bellingham's stunning impact since joining the Spanish giants from Borussia Dortmund last summer.
The young English star has taken LaLiga by storm, registering an impressive 19 goals and 6 assists in just 28 league appearances in his maiden campaign at the Santiago Bernabéu.
Bellingham's excellent form has not gone unnoticed after leading Real to a 36th LALIGA title, with the midfielder now firmly in the conversation for this year's prestigious Ballon d'Or award.
The former Birmingham City prodigy has been a revelation since his big-money move to Real Madrid, quickly establishing himself as a key figure in Carlo Ancelotti's side.

This latest individual accolade is a testament to Bellingham's outstanding debut season in the famous white jersey of Real Madrid, further enhancing his credentials as a genuine contender for the Ballon d'Or later this year.
He is expected to face even stiffer competition, with the likes of Kylian Mbappe, who could join Bellingham in Real this summer, and Manchester City duo of Phil Foden and Erling Haaland, expected to be frontrunners for the coveted gold-plaited award.

However, with the UEFA Champions League final against former club Borussia Dortmund to play early next month and the EURO 2024, the talented Los Blancos star could find himself as the overall favourite for the Ballon d'Or should he go on to perform and life either of Europe's elite competitions.
