Raheem Sterling and Nigeria-eligible star in danger as Chelsea switch to outgoings after 11 new signings

After a summer of lavish spending, Chelsea are now set to focus on offloading players in the coming days, according to transfer guru Fabrizio Romano.

The Blues have already brought in a staggering nine new faces, including the likes of Tosin Adarabioyo, Marc Guiu and Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall. 

But it seems their business is far from over, as the club looks to streamline their bloated squad.

Romelu Lukaku is expected to join Napoli, potentially paving the way for the Italian side to part ways with their Nigerian icon, Victor Osimhen. 

The future of Raheem Sterling is also uncertain, with the former Manchester City star potentially on the move if João Félix returns to Stamford Bridge.

But the player who could garner the most attention is Noni Madueke, the Nigeria-eligible winger who has been tipped as a potential star. 

The 23-year-old has impressed in pre-season, scoring three goals and providing an assist in just five games, earning the trust of new boss Enzo Maresca.

However, with the arrival of Wolves sensation Pedro Neto, Chelsea may be tempted to cash in on Madueke, who has caught the eye of Newcastle United. 

The Blues are also considering sending Diego Moreira on loan to Strasbourg as they continue to streamline their squad.
