PSG set to land one half of Osimhen-Kvaratskhelia partnership after reaching agreement on principle
Paris Saint Germain have finally gotten their man, according to reports, as they have reached an agreement with Napoli for Khvicha Kvaratskhelia.
The 22-year-old joined the Partenopei in the summer of 2022, and in a partnership with Victor Osimhen, led Napoli to their first Scudetto title in 33 years.
However, they failed to build on it and following Osimhen's decision to leave, Kvaratskhelia pushed for a move. PSG agreed personal terms with him last season, but Napoli remained resolute. They have now budged.
The details
According to a report from Fabrizio Romano, the French champions have reached an agreement with Napoli for the transfer of Kvaratskhelia in a deal worth around €70 million.
Negotiations began some weeks back, as Napoli boss Antonio Conte confirmed the Georgia international has communicated his desire to leave. Both parties are now said to have reached an agreement in principle.
Per the report, the former Dinamo Batumi winger will sign a four-year contract with PSG and will earn up to quadruple his current Napoli salary.
