Barcelona started with intent, pushing upfield early, but PSG sat in and absorbed pressure while probing on the break.

The opening goal came in the 19th minute: Rashford shifted the ball wide and delivered a cutting cross; Ferran Torres raced beyond his marker and slid in to finish past Lucas Chevalier, putting Barça ahead.

PSG’s response brewed gradually, and in the 38th minute, Nuno Mendes carried the ball infield, evading challenges before playing a precise through pass. Mayulu latched onto it, capitalising on Pau Cubarsi’s properly timed tackle, took a touch, and curled into the bottom corner to level. The hosts nearly regained the lead just before halftime but weren’t able to convert.

Paris Saint-Germain upped the ante in the second half and created a truckload of chances. Barcelona had chances through Olmo and Yamal, but failed to capitalise.

PSG went up a gear after making substitutions; Lee Kang-In’s introduction was the most telling. In the 83rd minute, the Korean’s shot from distance cannoned off the post.

The decisive moment arrived in stoppage time: PSG broke quickly, and Hakimi burst down the flank to cross; Ramos outjumped the defence and side-footed home from close range in the 90 + 1′ minute.
