The former Bayer Leverkusen star netted a well-taken equaliser, opening his Liverpool account in style. 

His goal was the catalyst for a dominant Reds display, with academy prodigies Trey Nyoni and Rio Ngumoha also finding the net to seal a decisive 3-1 victory.
