Osimhen will take Chelsea to the next level — Ex-Blues defender Gallas

Chelsea have clearly struggled in the striker department, with Joao Pedro, Liam Delap, and Marc Guiu, with none particularly impressing as the focal point.

The Blues have been linked to Osimhen for years, and failed with a late bid for the striker last summer.

Speaking to OLBG, the Frenchman expressed his belief that the Nigerian international possesses the quality and experience necessary to elevate the Blues back to the top of the Premier League.

Gallas argues that the squad is missing a seasoned forward of Osimhen's calibre.

"To be honest, Chelsea, at the moment, I think they are missing one experienced player," Gallas stated. "A player who can put Chelsea really on top for me is Victor Osimhen."

Gallas lamented that a deal for the prolific striker has not yet materialized, adding, "I wanted to see him sign for Chelsea. Unfortunately, it did not happen. But yeah, my dream is to see him play for Chelsea because with his quality, I think he can adapt to Chelsea perfectly."

These comments come as Chelsea prepares for their upcoming Premier League fixtures under their new head coach.
