A few Chelsea players are reportedly unhappy with manager Enzo Maresca after the club's UEFA Champions League defeat to Atalanta.

After some big wins in late November, Chelsea's form has fallen off a cliff. The Blues have lost two of their last three matches, beginning with a surprising 3-1 defeat away to relegation-threatened Leeds United.

Their title aspirations took another hit following a goalless draw with Bournemouth.

During the loss to Atalanta, the decision not to bring on Estevao Willian from the bench left many Chelsea supporters perplexed and annoyed. The 18-year-old, who joined from Palmeiras in a £51 million deal last summer, is widely regarded as one of football's most exciting young talents.

According to the Daily Mail, Estevao was visibly disappointed when it became clear he would not be substituted into the match.

While he is said to be happy at Stamford Bridge, Chelsea's hierarchy will be keen to keep their future superstar content, especially with clubs like Real Madrid reportedly regretting not pursuing him more aggressively.

Estevao is not the only player feeling sidelined. Fellow summer signing Facundo Buonanotte is also reportedly frustrated with his situation.

The 20-year-old, who arrived on a £2 million loan from Brighton, has made only six appearances this season and has been an unused substitute for the last seven consecutive games.

Maresca's management style has involved significant rotation, with 119 changes to his starting lineups this season—more than any other manager in England—and over 100 substitutions across all competitions.

After the wretched run of form, the Blues will be desperate to return to winning ways when they host an in-form Everton at Stamford Bridge this weekend.
