Osimhen donates huge amount to woman suffering from cancer

Super Eagles ace Victor Osimhen has donated ₦5 million towards financing the cancer treatment of a popular social media personal shopper, Esther Omolola Mensah (Aunty Esther). 

Aunty Esther made a name for herself on social media with her bubbly personality and reliability for market runs and personal shopping. 

However, that has taken a back seat in recent months, as she has battled with health issues revealed to be breast cancer. Given the exorbitant amount required to combat the disease, she has needed donations.

Social media personalities like @Wizarab and @Auntywuse have taken up the charge to garner support and donations, as Aunty Esther herself confirmed. 

A donation account was created on her behalf, and millions have been sent in. 

Earlier today, @Wizarab shared a transaction alert, which showed that the Galatasaray ace sent ₦5 million to the cause, confirmed to be the biggest single donation yet. His contribution took the pot to about ₦23.3 million. 

The beneficiary, Aunty Esther, has reacted to Osimhen's benevolence, taking to  X (FKA Twitter) to thank the currently injured Galatasaray ace for his contribution. “Thank you, Uncle 🙏 @victorosimhen9 God bless u abundantly,” she wrote. At the time of writing, the latest update confirmed that they had collected ₦29.1 million in donations.
