Ola Aina: Injured Super Eagles star celebrates 27th birthday with cake in style

Super Eagles of Nigeria star Ola Aina is back on the social media trends.

The Nottingham Forest star has a reason to celebrate a special occasion.

Aina turned 27 on Sunday, October 8, 2023, and celebrated the special occasion in style.

He took to his official social media platforms to show off how he celebrated his birthday.

In the photos, Aina was wearing black shorts with a check jacket to go with shades.

Along with the photos by Aina was a message that said, "Thank God always for another year, grateful for all the messages and to everyone that showed out for the kid. Made my day 💜"#lulu27"

In another post, he added, "October is all about me ‘cause your turn should’ve been over 💜♎️"

Due to an injury, Aina will not play in Nigeria's friendly against Saudi Arabia and Mozambique.

Jose Peseiro, the head coach of the Super Eagles, included Aina on the 25-man roster for both contests.

Nottingham Forest, the defender's Premier League team, has now confirmed that he is temporarily out with a muscle issue.

Tyrone Ebuehi, a defender for Empoli, has taken Aina's place in the Super Eagles squad during the international break.

On Friday, October 13 at Portimao, Portugal, the Super Eagles of Nigeria will compete against the Greens of Saudi Arabia.

A match between the Mozambican Mambas and the Super Eagles is also scheduled for Portimao three days later.
