Odion Ighalo sparks dating rumors with UK-Based podcaster Esther

Nigerian footballer Odion Ighalo has once again captured the attention of fans with rumors about his dating life.

According to several posts on social media, the 35-year-old Al-Wehda striker is involved with Esther, a UK-based podcaster known for her Spotify Original series Looking for Esther.

The rumors, which have taken social media by storm, stem from a series of Snapchat pictures that went viral.

The pictures do not show Ighalo and Esther together but fans made comments that they were both in Saudi Arabia igniting widespread speculation about a budding romance.

The rumors have intensity especially as his estranged wife, Adesuwa, who is the mother of his three children has reportedly not been involved with him.

The viral Snapchat pictures, reposted by the popular blog Instablog9ja, paint a picture of a cozy connection.

One story from Esther’s account with a message “He made sure the driver picked me up to the airport in one of his favourite tho .”

Another post shows Esther inside the van, captioned, “Giving princess .”

“up looking annoyed lol I don’t wanna go back to the UK .”

Meanwhile, Ighalo, under his handle posted a photo of himself in a similar van, dressed in traditional attire.

Ighalo, a devout Christian and father of three, has had his personal life under scrutiny before and was just on a podcast with Super Falcons of Nigeria star Rasheedat Ajibade.

There is no evidence Ighalo is in a relationship despite the rumours by fans online.
