Following United’s emphatic victory, an emotional Salah took to his social media account to react moments after the game.
According to the 32-year-old, the Reds had everything to succeed this season to make it to the Champions League but failed.
“I’m totally devastated,” Salah stated in a tweet on Thursday night moment after the game at Old Trafford
“There’s absolutely no excuse for this. We had everything we needed to make it to next year’s Champions League and we failed.”

Speaking further on the disappointment, the Egyptian superstar added that making it to Europe’s elite club competition is a bare minimum for a club of Liverpool’s standard.
