Manchester United are back in the UEFA Champions League after a special night against Chelsea at Old Trafford.

United defeated the Blues 4-1 to wrap up the final ticket for the Champions League with fierce rivals Liverpool set for Europa League football.

The Red Devils scored two goals in either half while Chelsea got a late consolation goal to deny David De Gea another Premier League clean sheet.

It was an entertaining game between United and Chelsea with plenty of chances from both teams who were also guilty of being wasteful on the night. 

Chelsea dominated proceedings at Old Trafford but the home side was more clinical and scored the goals that have secured a return to the Champions League.

Brazilian star Casemiro opened the floodgates when he headed the Reds in front with his second goal against Chelsea in the Premier League. 

United lost Brazilian winger Antony moments later as he was stretched out following what looked like a serious injury.

And before the break, Sancho set up Anthony Martial to double their advantage with a 2-0 lead heading into the break.

In the second half, Bruno Fernandes made it 3-0 from the spot after winning and scoring the penalty before Marcus Rashford, who replaced Antony, added the cherry on the cake with the fourth.

Another substitute, Joao Felix ensured the scoreline was more respectable when he netted a late consolation for the Blues.
