Minister of Communications attends Sporting Lagos and Katsina United game, shares experience

The Minister of Communications, Innovation and Digital Economy, Dr Bosun Tijani, has shared his experiences witnessing the Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL) game live.

The Minister witnessed how Sporting Lagos defeated Katsina United by a lone goal at the Mobolaji Jhonson Arena in Onikan.

The Lagos based side returned back to winning ways following their hard-fought victory against Katsina United in NPFL week 11 fixtures.

Clement Naantuam broke from the left and evaded a sea of legs marking him before letting a low effort into the bottom right corner to give the tech boys the lonely goal.

The minister described the club’s founders as great drivers of the nation’s economy through entrepreneurship, showcasing true Nigerian excellence.

“I had a great time unwinding at the Sporting Lagos football match with Katsina United, which ended 1-0 in favour of the home team. That was a great goal, by the way, from Clement Naantuam.

“Entrepreneurs are great drivers of progress in our economy, and it’s refreshing to see what Shola and his team are doing with this football club. These founders are the builders we want to see more of in our country.”
