Kano Pillars' youngster, Yusuf Abdullahi, has put his name in the Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL) history books as he scored five goals in a single game.
Abdullahi scored five goals to help the Pillars pick up maximum points in Gombe as they defeated Gombe United 5-2.

Kano Pillars’ Abdullahi scored in the 10th, 14th, 33rd, 45th, and 60th minute of the game. He would have made it six, but the woodwork denied him.
Abdullahi made history at the Pantami Township Stadium, Gombe, becoming the youngest player to score a hat-trick in NPFL.
Also, he became the youngest player to score a hat-trick in the first half of an NPFL game and the first to find the back of the net five times in a single away game.
Abdullahi was delighted with the First NPFL goal.
The young striker was delighted to score his first NPFL goals and looks forward to getting a call-up to represent Nigeria's national teams.
“This is the first time I am playing in the NPFL and my joy is immeasurable and I owe it all to God because victory is from God,” he said.
Samuel Edem remains the player to score 6 in the NPFL game
Meanwhile, Samuel Edem Eduok remains the only player to have scored more goals than Yusuf Abdullahi in a single game in the history of the NPFL.
According to stats from Made in Africa Sports, Samuel Edem Eduok scored all six for his team against Nembe City in 2014.
