Mike Edwards, an ex-BBNaija housemate, has declared his entry into the world of professional boxing and is looking forward to making his debut.

Mike Edwards, a former reality star of Big Brother Naija, has declared his intention to enter the professional boxing world.

The sportsman announced the news on Friday on his X handle.

Edwards on social media wrote, “Breaking News: Excited to announce my entry into the world of professional boxing! Thrilled to join the Cruiserweight division roster on @MisfitsBoxing.

“Get ready for an electrifying debut as I step into the ring to showcase my skills and determination.”

He would be participating in the Misfits Boxing Cruiserweight division, which is run by English social media personality and Nigerian-born professional boxer Olajide Olayinka Williams "JJ" Olatunji, better known by his stage name KSI.

His first fight, which has not yet been announced, would be against Jake Cornish.

He urged his supporters and fans to be excited for his ring debut, where he intends to show off his skills and tenacity.

Last year, Mike Edwards issued a challenge to his subordinate colleague Pere to a boxing battle, but it was not fulfilled.
