Maurizio Sarri's Lazio eye Zaha amid Saudi interest
Serie A side Lazio have reportedly been offered the opportunity to sign Ivory Coast international Wilfried Zaha.
The 30-year-old winger ran down his contract with Crystal Palace in favour of a more competitive experience.
He has been on the radar of a number of clubs and has even been reportedly offered a contract by a Saudi Arabia-based side.
Lazio given Zaha Chance
According to GetfootballNewsItaly, Maurizio Sarri's side like the profile of the winger and have been offered the chance to sign him on a free transfer by his representatives.
Le Aquile are said to be evaluating the offer and will decide whether they want to sign him, as they are looking to strengthen their team.
Lazio finished second in Serie A this season, and will consequently play in the Champions League next season. This is in line with Zaha's goals, as he wants to compete among the European elite.
The 30-year-old striker spent the season with the Nerazzurri on loan from Chelsea but does not want to return to his parent club, preferring to stay at Inter.
He was courted by Saudi Arabia's Al-Ahli, but he allegedly turned down the offer. However, with another season on loan at Inter looking unlikely, the player is said to be warming up to the Saudi bid.
