According to transfer expert Fabrizio Romano, Bellingham is City's number one target for the summer as the club looks to begin an overhaul.
Midfield is an area of particular interest to Man City boss, Pep Guardiola going into the summer.
Ilkay Gundogan's contract expires in June, Kalvin Phillips has failed to impress and Bernardo Silva has been vocal about his desire for a new challenge.
All of these factors point to a situation where City are forced to bring in at least two new players in midfield.
Man City also monitoring Kovacic
The Telegraph reported that the club have their sights set on Chelsea's Croatian midfielder Mateo Kovacic whose contract expires in 2024.

Chelsea will be keen to avoid a scenario where the player enters the final year of his contract without committing to fresh terms.
