Lamine Yamal wins La Liga Player of the Month

Barcelona forward Lamine Yamal has been named the La Liga Player of the Month for November, capping off a brilliant spell in which the teenager delivered decisive goals and assists to lift Xavi’s side back to the summit of Spanish football.

The 18-year-old came out on top ahead of strong contenders including Kylian Mbappé and Antoine Griezmann, following a stunning return to form after an injury-affected start to the campaign.

Yamal directly contributed to six goals in four league matches during November, scoring three times and supplying three assists.

His standout performances included two assists vs Athletic Club, a goal and an assist against Alavés
