Kleiza explains Jonas Valančiūnas decision between Nuggets and Panathinaikos

Veteran Lithuanian centre Jonas Valančiūnas has been acquired by 2023 NBA Champions the Denver Nuggets.

Despite the trade from the Sacramento Kings to the Nuggets, there are reports he is seriously considering Panathinaikos' offer to play in Athens.

Linas Kleiza, a former Olympiacos player and current GM of the Lithuanian national team, is expected to feature at the EuroBasket.

He weighed on the decision saying Valančiūnas's decision is like choosing between the best Mercedes and the best BMW.

He said, "Jonas's situation is probably still up in the air. It's not easy for him with these options.

The Denver Nuggets have already confirmed the signing of Valančiūnas and are not going to buy him out.
