Pogba makes generous donation to church and mosque in Ivory Coast
Pogba, who was joined by his former Manchester United teammate Eric Bailly, visited some churches and mosques in Abidjan this week.
Ivorian outlet, Hits2Babi reports that the former Red Devils duo also made generous donations to the religious institutions.
Photos that emerged from their trip showed Pogba and Bailey being prayed for by a priest of a Catholic church, while gratitude was also extended to the footballers for their donation to the mosque.
Pogba’s donation comes months after the former Juventus star was sentenced to a four-year suspension after being found guilty of breaching anti-doping rules.
The ban was imposed by the Italian anti-doping tribunal following a failed doping test in August 2023.
However, Pogba has vowed to appeal the decision having seen his family member show support for him in the wake of the verdict, but his future in the sport remains uncertain.
