I used to love a woman but not anymore — Mbappé confesses years after breaking up with transgender girlfriend

In a rare and candid moment, Real Madrid’s star striker Kylian Mbappé peeled back the curtain on his closely guarded personal life during an interview with Mouloud Achour on Clique. 

While the 25-year-old addressed heavy allegations surrounding an alleged rape incident in Stockholm, it was his reflections on love and relationships that truly stole the spotlight.

When asked if he’s ever professed love to anyone, the Les Bleus forward offered a heartfelt response: 

"Yes, to my mother, my father, my little brother. I try to give them this affection every day. I have no problem revealing my feelings.”

However, when it came to romantic love, Mbappé admitted as per Le Parisien:

 "Yes, in the past, I have already been in love and I hope that I will be again. But currently, no."

The admission prompted fans to revisit rumours about Mbappé’s love life, including his alleged romance with Ines Rau, a transgender model and Playboy icon.

 Viral photos of the footballer cosying up with a mystery woman on a yacht in 2022 sparked rumours that were never officially confirmed.

 Speculation surged that the pair broke up in December 2022, but insiders suggest it may have been a case of mistaken identity.

Mbappé opened up about the challenges of dating as one of the most recognisable faces in football.

 “Imagine, if with everything you live, there is someone next to you. The person next to me is not necessarily ready to live all this stuff,” he reflected.

He candidly admitted fears of overwhelming a partner with the pressures of fame: 

“I’m not going to be her boyfriend; I’m going to be her psychologist, because she’s going to think, ‘What is this mentally ill life?’”

Although linked briefly to Stephanie Rose Bertram, Mbappé remains resolutely single, prioritising his career and inner circle over romantic entanglements.

In recent years, Mbappe has been linked to several other women including Emma Smet, Alicia Aylie, Kim Kardashian, and most recently Daniella Grace - none of which was ever officially confirmed.

However, fans are left wondering if there’s a new chapter of love on the horizon for the French superstar.
