Chelsea winger Noni Madueke has officially bid farewell to Chelsea Football Club, bringing an emotional close to a spell that spanned just over three years at Stamford Bridge.
Madueke joined Chelsea from PSV Eindhoven in January 2023 with high expectations. Despite an inconsistent spell marked by injuries and competition, he contributed to Chelsea's improved 2024/25 season.
What Madueke said
In a heartfelt message shared across his social media platforms, the 22-year-old England international expressed deep gratitude to the club, his teammates, coaches, and fans, signalling a respectful and reflective end to his time in west London.
“Dear Chelsea Football Club, I want to thank you for the last 3 or so years. To every staff member that helped me along this journey, thank you. To my teammates, thank you for everything. I leave with only love and admiration for you guys.
"We achieved so much this season and I honestly wish you guys nothing but the best. To Enzo Maresca, it was a privilege to play under you. Thank you for trying to better me as a player and as a person.
"Lastly, thank you to every single Chelsea fan. Thank you for the love, the praise, and the criticism. I appreciate it all. I leave here with nothing but fond memories. Love," he said.
The 23-year-old England international is reportedly close to sealing a blockbuster £55 million move from Chelsea to Arsenal.
