"In some ties, I was happy in some ties and not so happy in others," he reflected.

While acknowledging the difficulty of playing against Manchester City, Rodrygo is feeling optimistic about his current form.

"It's always difficult to play against them, but I'm in very good form, and I think I can be decisive and help the team."

Pep Guardiola's City come into this fixture as slight underdogs for the first time in years, due to a combination of several factors including injuries, loss of form and decline.

However, you can never write off City, and this one promises to be a thrilling affair.
