Paris Saint-Germain manager Luis Enrique has firmly ruled out the possibility of Bradley Barcola leaving the club this summer, amid reported interest from Bayern Munich.

Barcola, 21, has been linked with a move to the German giants, who are said to be in the market for a left-winger.

What Enrique said

However, ahead of PSG’s Club World Cup quarter-final clash against Bayern, Luis Enrique was unequivocal about the young Frenchman’s future.

“Bradley Barcola's future? I have no doubt he'll remain our player,” Enrique said during a press briefing.

He continued, “We like the fact that our players are interesting to other clubs. But he's one of those young players we've been banking on. I expect him to play here for many more years.”

Barcola played a key role for PSG during the early parts of last season but lost his starting place during their Champions League-winning campaign, as the front three of Khvicha Kvaratskhelia, Ousmane Dembele, and Desire Doue took centre stage.

Despite this, he featured prominently in the Club World Cup last-16 victory over Inter Miami, playing the full 90 minutes and impressing with his movement and creativity on the left flank.

The Club World Cup quarter-final match between PSG and Bayern Munich will take place on Saturday, with the winner set to face either Real Madrid or Borussia Dortmund in the semi-final.
