‘He would create a bigger impact than Sané’ - Turkish legend urges Galatasaray to sign Lookman at all cost
Lookman has been a key player for Atalanta in recent years and played a key role in their UEFA Europa League triumph in 2023.
His performance led to top European clubs looking to sign him, including Inter Milan and Galatasaray, last summer.
However, the move failed to materialise, leading him to remain at Atalanta for another season.

Sas wants Lookman at Galatasaray
Şaş believes Lookman's dynamic play and goal-scoring ability would be a perfect fit for the Istanbul club's attack.
"Lookman transfer. This player would change a lot of things," Şaş stated in a recent interview. "He would create a bigger impact than Leroy Sané.
“Galatasaray needs to stay in constant contact for the Lookman transfer... needs to be at the table."
The 27-year-old forward was reportedly on the verge of an exit from Atalanta last summer, with Inter Milan showing strong interest.
Lookman even submitted a transfer request and was briefly absent from the club before Atalanta blocked the move.
After a period on the sidelines, he has been reintegrated into the squad by new head coach Ivan Jurić.
Lookman has started to repay that trust, scoring his first goal of the season in a recent 1-1 Serie A draw against AC Milan, signalling a potential return to his best form.
While Sané, a summer signing from Bayern Munich, has started well with three goals and an assist in ten league matches, Şaş is convinced that Lookman's energy and all-around threat could make him an even more influential figure for the team.
