Rodri is the current holder of the Ballon d'Or award but his season-ending injury means he will not be in contention for the 2025 edition.
There are several players in the running for this year's award, and a few stars who will no doubt make a late push and solidify their claim as we reach the business end of the season.
Liverpool's Mohamed Salah has been tipped by many as a strong candidate to win the award thanks to his electrifying performances for Liverpool this season.

Other candidates include Real Madrid's Vinicius Junior, Bayern Munich's Harry Kane, and Barcelona duo Raphinha and Lamine Yamal.
Raphinha in particular has been outstanding this season, scoring 22 goals and providing 10 assists in 30 games for Hansi Flick's men.

Brazil legend Rivaldo also endorsed Raphinha as the Ballon d'Or favourite, and several fans on social media have called for the 27-year-old to take home the ultimate prize.
