Nigerian goalkeeper Osayi Kingdom has bid farewell to the Nigerian Premier Football League, NPFL, to join Swedish club Assyriska Sodertalje.

Kingdom, who was once on the radar of the Super Eagles for his impressive performances, has left champions Enugu Rangers to pursue his dreams in Europe.

The talented shot-stopper's decision to leave the Rangers was facilitated by a mutual termination of his contract, allowing him to embark on this new adventure. 

Before joining the Rangers, Kingdom had already made a name for himself at Doma United, where he was instrumental in a nine-match unbeaten streak during the 2023/2024 season.

In a separate farewell note to the Rangers, he wrote: “Dear Enugu Rangers International Family, as I bid farewell to this incredible team, I want to express my deepest gratitude to everyone who made my time here unforgettable.”
