A Premier League footballer was allegedly threatened with a gun by a football agent during a confrontation on a busy north London street, sparking a major police investigation that has sent shockwaves through English football.
The incident reportedly took place on September 6 around 11 p.m. on Cockfosters Parade, Barnet, after an altercation believed to be linked to the player’s decision not to use the agent’s services.
According to The Telegraph, the suspect, a 31-year-old agent with ties to several international players, allegedly confronted the Premier League star before the situation escalated.
