FIFPRO XI: Alozie dropped, two Africans in as English stars dominate list
The FIFPRO Women's World XI has been whittled down to the actual team after a nominee list of 25 players was released earlier, and with it went the only Nigerian representation, Michelle Alozie.
The Houston Dash right-back was the only member of the Mission X-achieving Super Falcons team to make the nominations list, with European women footballers taking up most spots.
However, the other two Africans who also got nominated, Barbara Banda (Zambia) and Ghizlane Chebbak (Morocco), both got placed in the attack and midfield of the XI.

FIFA Women's World XI
The Women's European Championship was evidently the major factor in the voting of the XI, as eight of the players who made it played in the final, five of whom won it with England.
The formation used for the team selection was a flat 4-3-3 with two attacking fullbacks, no defensive midfielder, and one true winger.
This is the 2025 FIFPRO Women's #World11 as decided by players worldwide ✨
