FIFA U-17 Women's World Cup: Which countries will represent Africa?
The African contingent for the 2024 FIFA U-17 Women's World Cup in the Dominican Republic has been confirmed, with Kenya, Zambia, and Nigeria securing their places in the prestigious tournament.
Nigeria's Flamingos will be one of the favourites from the continent, having participated in six of the seven previous editions of the finals.

The West African powerhouse punched their ticket by defeating Liberia 6-1 on aggregate, winning the first leg 4-1 before concluding the matter with a 2-0 triumph in Abuja.
Zambia, on the other hand, will return to the global stage after a decade-long absence.
The Copper Princesses dashed Morocco's hopes with a 3-1 aggregate victory, despite a barren draw in the second leg in Morocco.
However, the biggest surprise comes from Kenya, who will participate in the finals for the first time.
The Junior Starlets wrote their name in African women's football history by securing their maiden ticket with a 5-0 aggregate triumph over Burundi, securing a 2-0 win in the second leg in Nairobi.
This remarkable feat will see Kenya grace the global finals for the first time, marking a significant milestone in the country's footballing journey.
For Kenya, the qualification is a testament to the growth and development of women's football in the country, and their participation will undoubtedly inspire future generations of Kenyan footballers.

The FIFA U-17 Women's World Cup Dominican Republic 2024 will feature the three African teams alongside England, Brazil, Colombia, Ecuador, Spain, the United States, Japan, Mexico, New Zealand, Poland, Korea DPR, Korea Republic, and hosts Dominican Republic.
