2 - Kenny Bednarek (9.79 seconds)
Two-time Olympic medallist Kenny Bednarek clocked a PB of 9.79 seconds to win a highly contested men's 100m final at the 2025 USA Track and Field Championships, extending his brilliant unbeaten form in the event this season.
The Paris Olympics 200m silver medallist's blistering time is the joint twelfth fastest in history.
3 - Bryan Levell (9.82 seconds)
In an outstanding performance by Bryan Levell at the Raiffeisen Austrian Open, the rising Jamaican sprinter blazed to a brilliant PB of 9.82s (+1.3 m/s) to win ahead of South Africa's Abduraqhman Karriem in 10.07s, while Japan's Yoshihide Kiryu settled for third in 10.08s.
The 21-year-old who will compete in the 200m at the World Championships in Tokyo is highly regarded as a potential medallist and the future of the sport.
4 - Courtney Lindsey (9.82 seconds)
The second American on the list, Courtney Lindsey clocked a personal best of 9.82 seconds to finish second behind Kenny Bednarek at the USA Track and Field Championships and book his spot on the team to Tokyo.
His time currently makes him the fourth fastest sprinter in the world in 2025.

Another Jamaican on the list, Oblique Seville clocked 9.83 seconds to finish second at the Jamaican Championships and make the team to the World Championships in Tokyo.
6 - T'Mars Mccallum (9.83 seconds)
The college standout sprinter swiftly stamped his name as the sixth fastest sprinter in the world in 2025 after running a blazing personal best of 9.83 seconds to finish third at the USA Track and Field Championships behind Kenny Bednarek and Courtney Lindsey.
7 - Trayvon Bromell (9.84 seconds)
A veteran sprinter with over a decade of experience, Trayvon Bromell bounced back to recognition among the world's fastest sprinters after blazing to a massive 9.84 seconds to win the men's 100m event at the Rome Diamond League.
It was his fastest time in three years, making him a major challenger at various meets this season.
8 - Abdul-Rasheed Saminu (9.84 seconds)
The only non-American or Jamaican on the Top 10 list, Abdul-Rasheed Saminu ran a then world fastest time in 2025, after powering to an outstanding Ghanaian National Record to win the men's 100m event at the NCAA East Regionals.
The 27-year-old clocked a blistering Personal Best (PB) time of 9.84 seconds (0.6), defeating Nigerian sprint sensation Kanyinsola Ajayi, who also clocked a huge PB of 9.95s.
9 - Christian Coleman (9.86 seconds)
Despite having a troubled 2025 season on and off track, former world champion Christian Coleman recorded some highs, which include clocking 9.86 seconds to finish fifth at the USA Track and Field Championships and become the ninth fastest sprinter in the world in 2025.
The icing on the cake for his season was claiming the Diamond League title in Zurich - his second in three years.

The fourth Jamaican on the Top 10 list of the fastest sprinters in the world in 2025, Ackeem Blake ran a sensational 9.88 seconds to finish third at the Jamaican Championships and book his spot on the team to Tokyo.
