Noah Lyles sets new record with most Diamond League title wins
World and Olympic champion Noah Lyles powered to a new record for the most Diamond League titles after defeating Letsile Tebogo for the men's 200m win in Zurich.
In a race not just for confidence and bragging rights ahead of the World Championships in Tokyo, the American track star showed why he's very hard to beat and remains the favourite for the world title in Tokyo, by running down Tebogo to win in a new Season's Best (SB) of 19.74s.
With his victory, he secured his second consecutive Diamond League 200m win over the reigning Olympic champion, after his impressive performance in Monaco.
Tebogo held on for second in 19.76s, while Alexander Ogando finished third in 20.14s.

Following his win, Lyles set a new record of six for the highest number of Diamond League trophies ever won by a track athlete. (Brussels 2017 - 200m, Zurich 2018 - 100m and 200m, Brussels 2019 - 200m, Zurich 2022 - 200m, and Zurich 2025 - 200m).
He has also strengthened his position as the one to beat for the world title in Tokyo.
