Ex-Barcelona star links up with WNBA guard Caitlin Clark

The forward has kick-started his career in the US, scoring three goals in his first six games; however, he has taken time off from football to catch up with a basketball game.

Caitlin Clark’s team, Indiana Fever, defeated Chicago Sky 113-90 on Sunday night, with the WNBA star being the best player on the court.

She recorded 10 assists and poured in 37 points, scoring a career-best eight 3-pointers out of Indiana’s record total of 18.

Lewandowski, who currently plays in the US, was seen present at the game, taking his time off the pitch.

The Chicago Fire forward took the opportunity to watch Clark, one of women's basketball's brightest stars, compete against his city's WNBA team.

After the game, Lewandowski and Caitlin linked up, with their meeting creating a buzz among fans. A photo shared online captured the moment for fans of both the WNBA and the football star.

At 37, the captain of the Polish national team remains an international icon and is his country's all-time leading scorer. 

His presence in Chicago gives MLS fans a chance to witness a global sports legend up close.
