eFootball 2024 Trailer revealed as new features confirmed, Messi edition & more

eFootball 2024 has finally been officially announced.

The latest edition of KONAMI’s soccer video gaming franchise series brings a bunch of new features, including exclusive teams, a new Messi edition, and lots more.

Since rebranding from rom Pro Evolution Soccer (PES), KONAMI has fully backed the new title, supplying regular updates more often than usual.

eFootball 2024 will also welcome new gameplay features to help improve player’s footballing experience.

As mentioned earlier the new title will see new gameplay features that are arriving with the eFootball 2024 update.

The new gameplay features in eFootball 2024 include:

Improved focus on dribbling and defending mechanics

Improved control response, letting you replicate split-second decisions and have tighter close-control

Enhanced dribbling, letting you function in congested areas

There are also updates to the squads, kits, and player appearances of partner clubs to keep up to date with the 2023/24 season.

Alongside the gameplay updates, there will be 'Boosters' which is currently available in Dream Team.

These Boosters enable you enhance the attributes and skills of your team's players. 

Players can also earn lots of in-game rewards like GP, eFootball Coins, EXP and more by taking part in the Startup Campaign.

There has been continued exclusivity for a number teams in eFootball 2024, meaning that this is the only soccer video game where their players, badge, and kit will be fully licenced.

The teams include: Barcelona, Manchester United, AS Roma, SSC Napoli, AC Milan, Bayern Munich, Inter, AS Roma, Arsenal.

Alongside the launch of eFootball 2024 update is the Lionel Messi Edition, meant to celebrate the career of what is likely the sport's greatest-ever player. There is still little details as to what this edition will specifically include.

However, there is expected to be a 'Premium Ambassador Pack: Leo Messi' available for mobile and Steam users, which likely brings Messi-related rewards to your game.

Last month, eFootball announced on Twitter, the upcoming seasonal update called eFootball 2024 will be released on September 7, 2023 and will feature “improved play control liberty for chance creation.”

However, Mobile users will be able to play eFootball 2024 from September 5, 2023, while console users will be able to play eFootball 2024 from September 6, 2023.
