Dream come true! — Ecstatic Kylian Mbappe celebrates Real Madrid move

Kylian Mbappe has finally achieved his self-proclaimed lifelong dream of playing for Real Madrid, and he immediately took to social media to share his excitement following the official announcement of his acquisition.

Los Blancos announced via their official channels today that they have completed the signing of France national team captain Kylian Mbappe on a free transfer. 

The 25-year-old signed a five-year contract with the recently crowned European champions, which will keep him at the club until 2029.

“Real Madrid CF and Kylian Mbappé have reached an agreement whereby he will be a Real Madrid player for the next five seasons.”

According to reports he will wear the No.9 jersey for one season after which Luka Modric will leave the club, and he will inherit his favoured number 10.

Ecstatic following the announcement, Mbappe took to social media to share the following:

“A dream come true, So happy and proud to join the club of my dream @realmadrid.”

A more elaborate unveiling will expectedly be held at a later date, as the former Monaco man is currently on international duty with France ahead of the European Championships.
