Despite this red-hot form, Chelsea have reportedly decided to look elsewhere for their next striker.

Chelsea have stayed away from signing players over the age of 26 in recent windows, but the report claims they could make an exception if a reasonable deal is agreed.

Osimhen's high wages and potential fee has pushed Chelsea in a different direction, and it is believed that if a deal for Watkins fails to materialise, the club could move for Ipswich star Liam Delap.
