Chelsea join race to sign Serie A forward after refusing to pay Osimhen release clause

Federico Chiesa's agent, Fali Ramadani, has reportedly arrived in London for face-to-face discussions with Tottenham and Chelsea, as the Juventus winger's future looks increasingly likely to be away from Turin.

With just under a year left on his contract, Chiesa is no longer considered a key player in Thiago Motta's plans, making a departure very likely.

According to Corriere dello Sport, Roma and Napoli were previously linked with Chiesa but both clubs are now believed to have shifted their focus to other targets, leaving the door open for a move abroad.

Chelsea, who recently backed away from signing Victor Osimhen due to his hefty release clause, may see Chiesa as an ideal alternative.

The Italian winger's impressive record of 10 goals and three assists in 37 games last season makes him an attractive option for the Blues, especially when considering alternatives like Raheem Sterling and Mykhailo Mudryk.

Ramadani's meetings with Tottenham and Chelsea could pave the way for a Premier League move, with Manchester United also reportedly interested.

Chiesa is set for a face-to-face meeting with Motta this week but his Juventus exit seems all but certain as the new season approaches.
