Report: Arsenal advancing in negotiations to sign Victor Osimhen ahead of PSG

Victor Osimhen remains the topic of transfer speculation all over Europe, as his Napoli future remains undecided.

The 25-year-old striker has been linked with several clubs across Europe and Saudi Arabia, but nothing concrete has yet materialized.

There was talk of a potential move to French giants PSG last week but that move broke down due to a difference in valuation, with the Ligue 1 champions becoming the latest side to turn their noses at the reported €120m. 

According to transfer expert Gianluca Di Marzio, Arsenal have been in contact with Osimhen but are yet to make an offer to Napoli.

PSG remain keen on the Nigerian but only at a fair asking price.

Di Marzio also revealed that Chelsea are out of the running for Osimhen after showing strong interest over the past 6 months.

That has left the door open to other destinations, including oil-rich Saudi Arabia.

Should Napoli fail to reduce the striker's asking price, he is likely to stay in Naples under new boss Antonio Conte.
