Burna Boy reignites over 74,000 fans at Champions League final with mind-blowing performance
Burna Boy became the first African artiste to ever perform at a final of the UEFA Champions League.
Earlier in March, the African Giant was announced as a co-headliner of the Pepsi UCL kick-off show, before taking centre stage at the Atatürk Olympic Stadium in Istanbul, Turkey on Saturday, June 10, 2023.
Burna Boy took to the stage first before Brazilian singer Anitta and Swedish DJ and record producer performed.

Burna delivered an energetic and breathtaking medley performance of the song which is also off the ‘Love Damini’ project.
The music video for the song has currently amassed over 30 million views on YouTube.
However, as expected, Burna is expected to see his streaming numbers significantly increase following last night’s amazing performance.
Burna Boy became the first Nigerian artiste to perform in the finals of the UEFA Champions League, and the first African artiste to headline the closing ceremony of the UEFA Champions League.
Following his performance, the African giant was spotted enjoying the game in the VIP section of the stadium before eventually linking up with some legendary names in World football including Thierry Henry, to who he gifted his ‘Gambo’ diamond necklace, as well as Liverpool legend Jamie Carragher and former Manchester City defender Micah Richards.
Amid Manchester City's Champions League title celebrations, Burna Boy also posed for pictures with some of City's treble-winning squad members.
